Why Sound Therapy?

“If you want to know the Secrets of the Universe, think in terms of energy, frequency & vibration.” Nikola Tesla

Listen.

What do you hear?

In our daily lives, we are subject to sound.  Traffic, music, the wind blowing in the trees. It's such a constant factor, we take it for granted.

Now, listen.

Can you hear the hum of electricity, the steady drip of a leaking faucet, or perhaps the rhythmic ticking of a clock? Our ears may tune out most background sounds, or in our annoyance we may dismiss them as mere “noise”, but the body reacts to it all the same.

Think about it: you've likely cringed at the sound of nails on a chalkboard or been moved to tears upon hearing the opening notes of a song that is meaningful to you.  So, great! You know that you can be affected by specific sounds. Now, take it a step further: what if you could use sound to address physical and emotional wounds – to gently nudge psychic barriers and begin healing?

Sound can break glass. It can levitate objects.

“Music hath charms to soothe the savage beast.” William Congreve

Sound waves can show you inside your body, such as ultrasonography. We already know there is a spectrum of scientific evidence illuminating the power of sound.  Now, we are able to explore the potential of sound to encourage healing responses.

"By immersing in carefully curated sounds, individuals may find a bridge to express and release pent-up emotions associated with trauma, fostering a sense of catharsis and emotional well-being"
